Over a 30-year career, Verwray Scott worked for Hewlett-Packard Company, HP Enterprise, and Microsoft Corporation in the roles of Software Support Engineer, Section Manager, and Business Program Manager for manager development in the support organization. She has a passion to help transform people through the application of Biblical principles. As a certified life coach, Verwray enjoys applying her skills to various service opportunities: Teaching/facilitating Bible studies with youth and adults at her church, mentoring with the Global Give Back Circle, and serving on the Advisory Board for Camp Sunshine, a camp for children with cancer in GA.
Additionally, she partnered with her husband to start and operate the nonprofit called Omosaze that provided direct reading intervention to over 1,000 early-elementary, low-income students in GA during its 13-year existence. Verwray and her husband also founded Utengo Ministries, a U.S.-based nonprofit that supported churches and schools in Kenya, Africa for 20 years. Verwray obtained her bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from Tuskegee University and her MBA from Kennesaw State University.
